De Palestijnse vlag was vroeger de vlag van de Arabische nationale beweging. In 1948 is hij tot Palestijnse vlag uitgeroepen. De kleuren gaan terug naar oude tijden: de tijd van de Profeet Mohammed (zwart), de Khawarij (rood), de Omayyaden (wit) en de Fatimiden (groen).

Voetbal eer en schande

Tijdens een wedstrijd van Hapoel tel Aviv in Celtic Park riepen fans van de club dat de genocide gaat slagen: "Palestina heeft nog 5 tot 10 jaar te gaan". Mogelijk gaat Zinedine Zidane op bezoek naar Gaza.

Honour: There are reports that Zinedine Zidane is to make a solidarity visit to Gaza. "Gazans have suffered serious losses, damage, and injuries due to Israeli acts of violence," he said.  "Israel must realize that peace with the Palestinians and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state will be key to the solution." 

 

 

 

 

Shame: Hapoel Tel Aviv fans taunted human rights supporters last Wednesday night at Celtic Park that the genocide is going to succeed: "Palestine has only 5-10 more years."  Celtic Plc hosted the Israeli Ambassador; the Hapoel team went to a Jewish National Fund fundraiser afterwards.  The JNF is a key organiser of the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.
