Open protest letter against fund raising for the JNF in Germany

As some of you already know, the SPD (Social Democratic Party of Germany) is now also raising money for the racist Jewish National Fund, and is supposed to have a grove named after it in the ‘Forest of the German States’. But even the mainstream media have noted that this "afforestation" has nothing to do with protecting the enviroment, but is intended to drive the Palestinians off their land. In the Negev, where the ‘Forest of the German States’ is located, this is especially blatant at present, because Palestinian villages there are being destroyed all the time.

 
In Esslingen near Stuttgart, at the start of the new year, a benefit concert for the JNF will be held, under the patronage of a Social Democrat, the mayor of Esslingen, Dr. Jürgen Zieger.
 

We of the Stuttgart Palestine Solidarity Committee have drafted an open letter of protest (ZIE HIER), addressed both to the SPD as a party, and to those involved in the concert, a young pianist, the mayor of Esslingen, and the Jugendhilfe aktiv foundation (which is providing a hall) – see the attachments, the letter of protest and the invitation to the concert.
We want to send the letter of protest with as many signatories as possible (individuals and organizations), as soon as possible, to the addressees and the local media.
 
We ask you to send us your signatures (name, town, and organization, where applicable) by this coming Tuesday, January 1st. Individuals can respond particularly rapidly. And, if possible, please speed up the agreement in your group by telephone or e-mail. We need to act quickly and effectively; in the case of the Jewish National Fund-KKL, the chances are good of hindering the projects if we act quickly and decisively.
