Maandag 3 november riepen 309 mensenrechtenorganisaties EU's nieuwe 'buitenlandminister' Mogherini op om het Associatieverdrag tussen de EU en Israel op te schorten. De organisaties uit 19 Europese landen (waarbij ook vakbonden en politieke partijen; uit Nederland 41 organisaties) sporen de EU aan om Israel verantwoordelijk te stellen voor het bloedbad in Gaza juli/augustus dit jaar en dus het Associatieverdrag met Israel op te schorten totdat het eindelijk uitvoering geeft aan het Internationaal Recht.
