Het Russell Tribunal on Palestine (RtoP) is opgericht door een groep verontruste burgers in reactie op het falen van de internationale gemeenschap om de VN Resolutie over 'de Muur' (juli 2004) uit te voeren en op Israels bloedige 'oorlog' tegen Gaza (december 2008 – januari 2009). Phyllis Bennis gaat in op de belangrijkste conclusies en aanbevelingen van het Russell Tribunal on Palestine en hoe deze kunnen worden uitgevoerd.
