Over 600 academics from all over the world have signed a petition to the Israeli Council of Higher Education (CHE) calling on them not to close the Department of Politics and Government of Ben Gurion University of the Negev (BGU). Israeli Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar said just days ago that Professor Neve Gordon, faculty member in the Ben Gurion's Department of Politics, should be fired for his support of boycott.

De Palestijnse landarbeider Emad is inmiddels toe aan zijn vijfde videocamera. Iedere camera die kapot ging, vertelt een deel van het verhaal over het verzet van zijn dorp tegen de onderdrukking door Israël. De documentaire won op internationale filmfestivals inmiddels vele prijzen.
